Marriages- Indian Style Marriages are always fun and frolic for everyone, other than, the couple who are actually getting married. For them though, it is a period of transition, fear of the unknown, commitment, adjustment, compromise…yada yada, When all these new words and new people evade one’s universe one tends to freak out (for lack of better words) Yes, it is one thing to actually KNOW that someone is getting to be THE MOST closest person to one, but that very idea may turn into pain for some. So I am opening up this blog to all those of you who have a view about marriage, an experience worth sharing or just want to say something…. For starters I am of the opinion, the younger you are when you get married, the easier it is to adjust, learn to compromise etc… Especially in the Indian context, a young bride and a young groom, when i mean young I mean early 20’s are easier on each other, their ideas of life are not so strict, their tastes are still developing and they get a taste of each other’s likes and dislikes, in most cases they adapt and conform to each others likes and dislikes, (it may also be due to the subconscious need to avoid conflict) Each time a young couple get married they start seeing each other as friends….but something happens… Hey all you out there waiting for your responses…
